New Territories - 10,000 Buddhas Monastery
Northwest of Sha Tin is the 10,000 Buddhas Monastery. The 400 steps leading to the temple are aligned with bronze buddhas, and there are more, some 13,000 in total in the whole complex. Its an awesome spectacle and one not to be missed.
To get to the monastery, get on the KCR East Rail at TST station and then alight at Sha Tin station. Exit the station by the bus terminus, walk down the ramp and follow the signs.
