"Rocky Mountain" in "Castle Peak Stream Basin" Gallery View Gallery View Slideshow New Territories - Castle Peak Stream Basin Between Castle Peak and its west coast lies a stream basin mixed with curious landscapes and interesting plants. Crescent shaped ravines and vertical cliffs produce some of the most incredible scenery seen in Hong Kong.

This was a truly awesome adventure hike in December 2010. The ground was tricky in places, with some slippery slopes, small streams and large boulders. Weather was overcast, but the day was warm and sometimes slightly chilly on the mountains. A brilliant hike.
