"Hiking Path" in "Mui Wo to Cheung Sha Village" Gallery View Gallery View Slideshow Lantau Island - Mui Wo to Cheung Sha Village This hike was done on a misty, but warm day in December 2010. This walk takes in stages 11 & 12 of the Lantau Trail and starts from the Mui Wo ferry pier.

The walk takes you through the area of Pui O and via Ham Tin village, one of four main villages in the area. I finished the walk in Cheung Sha Village where I enjoyed a nice cool Tsing Tao at The Stoep.

To start this walk, head for Central Ferry Pier 6 and take the ferry to Lantau Island and Mui Wo. On leaving the ferry, walk left along the pier and the start of the trail appears after about 10mins. For further information, click here. For more info about Roz`s Hiking Group, click here.
