New Territories - Kai Kung Leng - Rooster Ridge
This was the first hike I did in 2009 with Roz`s Hiking Group. The hike starts in Kam Tin, passing Kat Hing Wai walled village, Kam Tin tree house and some Tang-Clan ancestral halls before ascending up to Rooster Ridge. The climb down at the end was steep and after some very dense bushes we arrived at Fan Kam Road.
This was a pleasant hike on a sunny and warm day in November. Some of the views around the valley were shrouded in mist, preventing truly great pictures of the surrounding area. After the hike we went for Pizza.
